Vicken Zakarian was born in Lebanon on March 15, 1969. He graduated from Melankton and Haig Arslanian College in 1988. He attended some courses in business administration at Haigazian University.

At the age of five he became a member of H.M.E.M as a scout, later joined the cycling race team.
He became a member of Lebanese Youth Association of A.R.F., in which he was appointed to responsible posts.
On April 17, 1992 he moved to Armenia and then to Artsakh. He took part in the liberation of Shoushi, he martyred while invading Lisakor.
He was buried in Yeraplour’s martyrs’ pantheon.
